I’m Nancy Knight, and I’m so grateful you stopped by to explore my Handworkt creations! My passion for fiber and stitching started in childhood with Knitting and crochet. After college, I owned a needlework shop that included a section of antique goods – another passion of mine! Over the years I’ve developed a love for collecting and crafting unique treasures. I now live in the Smokey Mountains, providing endless inspiration. Join me as I continue to create new pieces each month, drawn from my collection and imagination.

I belong to a group of artisans where we sell our work collectively at Primitive Handmades Mercantile. I will also list items for sale here and on my Facebook page at Handworkt.

I also work in concert with Robin Leuschen, Bird in the Hand Primitives. Robin is a gifted watercolor artist who transcribes her artwork into punchneedle, rug hooking, cross stitch and wool applique. I collaborate with her on color planning and executing the models to create the patterns that can be purchased in her Etsy shop.
